Influx has written about the transformative power of workplace design on corporate culture and how, in many ways, it's the ultimate form of brand expression.

Leading architecture firm NBBJ has just put together a book on the subject that looks pretty interesting.

Change Design features contributions from the likes of Howard Schultz at Stabucks, author Daniel Pink and Carolyn Corvi at Boeing.

It looks like they've also put together a process to think about change through the lens of architecture.

Workspace as brand
I loved the bit of info they put in there about the slide they installed in the Red Bull headquarters in London. They say that Red Bull lists it's brand idea as "to stimulate body and mind." Sliding downstairs instead of going in some dark stairwell is so much more stimulating. I'm sure there are a lot more brands that could influence their workspaces, ideally leading to more innovative employees and better performance. Check out design company IDEO: http://www.ideo.com/ They've been doing some impressive design work of the functional sort for a long time.
