london top tagged flickr city

Just because it's possible to plug in the tag for a city and see how many photos come up on Flickr, we did it for 30 random cities and ranked them according to the total number of photographs for each.

Not sure what it really says, other than there are a lot of photos of Flickr, Slough, home of "The Office", is not a well photographed place and Yahoo has a great global opportunity with Flickr

Flickr
Could your results be skewed slightly by the way flickr tags work? Many people may have made the mistake of tagging San Francisco 'San' and 'Francisco' rather than 'sanfrancisco'. Having said that I hope my home town of London is the most tagged city for real!

Definitely skewed
Results do favour cities which only have one way of spelling. E.g., Prague gets a bump up if you add results of "Praha" and "Prag". New York dwarfs London if you add results from "NYC", "newyorkcity" or "manhattan".
