The founder of Diesel Jeans, Renzo Rosso, is fifty this year and to celebrate this milestone, German publisher Die Gestalten is bringing out the definitive book on the brand. The book focuses on Diesel's single minded focus on bringing creativity to every aspect of its business from its advertising to its stores.

The book also has comments on the brand from an eclectic collection of celebrities including, Dalai Lama, Bono and Vincent Gallo.

Any one looking for a guide on how to keep a brand perfectly balanced in the difficult "cool zone" should get this book. Diesel is a classic case study, illustrating how in the tough fashion world, a brand can remain relevant through innovation, creativity and a little bit of patience.

The book is designed by Diesel's in-house creative team and one of its current creative partners, cutting-edge Spanish design shop, Vasava.
