trends for 2006- part five

Anastasia Goldstein writes the Ypulse blog , a great resource on all matters relating to teen trends and marketing. The one trend she believes will explode in 2006, is Machinima.

Here are her thoughts:

"We all know Gen Y loves gaming and that they love mashing stuff up, creating their own content, etc. Machinima is letting them do this with their favorite video game characters. Lionhead Studios just released a new tool that allows video game players to create their own machinima and upload it to the Web. They're being streamed like crazy -- and they're a fun legal way to remix."
